Authoritarianism is a political system that blends Conformance and Interdependence:

  1. Children are born bad and should become taught self-discipline and self-reliance to become productive members of society.
  2. Collective initiatives are more effective than individual ones.

People in this category will want the government to play two essential roles: 1) Enforce the moral order and 2) Ensure that the state or its members are the primary benefiaries of the actions of individuals.

Authoritarianism includes these variations:

  1. Economic Authoritarianism
  2. Moral Authoritarianism
  3. Moderate Authoritarianism
  4. Extreme Authoritarianism
