FRENCH PARTIES

While the French are opposed on moral order issues (security, immigration...), they show few variations on the moral rules side. For instance, no party significantly challenges the very generous social welfare system and the highly centralized education, health, and retirement systems.

The 2 main French parties are the Socialist Party (mainly in the Social Democracy ideology) and the UMP (mainly in the Social Republicanism ideology).

France has more than 3 communist revolutionaries parties (LO, LCR, and PT) and one "traditional" communist party (PC). On top of that, they also have a green party (Les Verts).
