Fascism is an extreme form of Moral Authoritarianism.
It refers to the political movement which ruled Italy 1922-1943 under the leadership of Benito Mussolini.
The word fascism has come to mean any system of government that exalts nation and often race above the individual, uses violence, propaganda, and censorship to forcibly suppress political opposition [Extreme Conformance], and engages in severe economic and social regimentation [strong Interdependence].
Nazism is usually considered as a kind of fascism. But while Nazi movement wanted to unify the racial classes above established classes, the Fascist movement sought to preserve the class system.
