THE MORAL POLITICS TEST

ABOUT US

The Moral Politics Test was introduced in September 2004. It was built by Stephane Dubois, a French-born internet entrepreneur from Foster City, California.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

The Moral Politics Test was inspired by the reading of Moral Politics: What Conservatives Know That Liberals Don't by George Lakoff, a UC Berkeley Linguistic Professor. Although I have no affiliation with Dr. Lakoff (and I don't share many of his ideas), I believe that his book brings a whole new understanding to politics, no matter your personal opinions. I highly recommend it.

OTHER POLITICAL TEST

There are many good political tests out there. Most of them use a four-quadrant matrix similar to ours. Most of them are focused on US Politics though. And most of them plot your position by probing your stance on political, not moral, issues:

  1. The Political Compass. My favorite as some of the questions are very good and they probe your moral beliefs. More than 60 questions though.
  2. The World's Smallest Political Quiz. Short and sweet, just 8 questions.
  3. The Student Center Political Test. 25 questions.
  4. Le Politest. 12 Questions, in French. Political, not moral.
